Where technology
has hugged this generation so tightly, the personal life and relations are
getting more sluggish. I personally am opinionated about technology and I find
it only of a few usages and rest is all falling apart our baskets. Some of us
spend so much time on gadgets and social networking that we forget how it was
to talk to someone face to face over a glass of lemonade. We often love our
gadgets and websites so much that we start visualising a single me in the room
and don’t pay attention to other living bodies in the house. Moreover,
birthdays were fun before technology and cost free conveying of wishes became
the best messengers of our lives. Somehow where elders of the family don’t know
much of today’s tech, they feel offended and primitive for their own kids and
other family members because they know they are not preferred over this superb
magical technology and social networking and thus they feel ignored. Although social
networking would never help us out of life’s problems, we prefer to choose it
and not the real existing relations which can never be re-installed once they
are deleted unknowingly or by choice. Rest, social networking and other technology
is anytime a big achievement of this age; but it also leads us into an
imaginary, non-real, insignificant, robotic, addictive, mortal and a delusional
world.
The life out
of technology is only a myth. To get a life, you and all of us got to quit an
excessive use of technology and its tentacles for our survival. Keep it only
till the necessity calls and sometimes for entertainment. The real life is completely not in the computers and
other machines. The real and trust-worthy relationships are not denoted with a
green dot, they are very much found in the black glitter of the eyes of the ones
you meet personally on the same land you stand, not somewhere on a 3G network.
Life is in
the air flowing in the veranda of your house, not in the air fanned out of the
laptop’s vent.
Have a good time and preserve your relationships first which never charm you on social networks yet so cheerful and promising! thanks :)
